Upward sports - basketball and cheerleading

  Here's what makes Upward Basketball special:

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

Parents may drop off the form with registration fee (payment must accompany form) at the

church office anytime between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, beginning August 29, 2011.

The early registration cost per child for basketball is $65.

The early registration cost per child for cheerleading is $65.

After October 3, the cost for either program is $75.

Deadline for registration is October 10.

Basketball shorts are optional at a cost of $14.

Cheerleading mock turtlenecks are optional at a cost of $14.

EVALUATIONS/ORIENTATION:

Everyone must attend one basketball evaluation or cheerleading orientation.

They will take place in the Smith Memorial Baptist Church Family Life Center gym as follows:

1st through 8th Graders  (whose last names begin A - M)

Monday, October 17, between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm

1st through 8th Graders  (whose last names begin N - Z)

Tuesday, October 18, between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm

LEAGUE SCHEDULE:

Practices Begin - Monday, December 5, 2011

First Game - Saturday, January 7, 2012
